RETURN POLICY

We are proud of every product carried by The Lifeguard/Swim Team Store.  All of our products are guaranteed.  If you are not satisfied for any reason, we will provide a merchandise credit, refund or exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase on any new or unused product.  Please return the merchandise through the mail or carrier of your choice.

Return and Exchange Form Directions:

1. Please contact our returns department for a Return Authorization Number.  Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted without this number.
2. Please complete and attach the portion of the Return Form which includes our delivery address, Customer Name, Date and Return Authorization Number to the outside of the package.
3. Please complete the balance of the Return and Exchange form and include inside package.
4. Please send your package with a carrier where the package is prepaid, traceable and insured to be certain that your package has a confirmed delivery.

Please allow up to 30 days for your return to be processed.   Exchanges will be processed within 48 hours of receipt.  In the event that a replacement is not available, a refund/credit will be issued.  Return mailing expense is not refundable.  Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credit to your card to appear on your statement.  Shipping charges will be applied to replacement orders for style, color or size.  Due to Health Department Regulations, we are unable to accept worn swimwear including suits/apparel that have been laundered, snagged or damaged.  The Lifeguard Store reserves the right to apply a 20% restocking fee to returns.  Orders for customized merchandise and/or special order items that are not listed in our current catalog cannot be cancelled once processed, and are non-returnable. 

Fit and Care for Swimwear

Lycra® is a very delicate fabric and it is this very feature which allows for the sleek, low-drag fit desired in a competition suit.  As with any high performance product, your proper care will prolong the usable life of this product.

FITTING- Lycra® and polyester suits should fit snugly and should not be purchased one size up for growth.  Loose fitting swimwear does not wear as well as those fitting close to the body.  Take gentle care when putting on your suit.  Do not pull hard on the suit and be careful that your fingers do not break the elastic. 

WASHING-Do not machine wash your suit.  Remember to rinse your suit thoroughly in clear, cold, fresh water after each wearing to remove chlorine and perspiration residue.  Hang your suit to drip dry.  Do not put in pocket or roll in towel.  Leaving your suit in such a condition will result in a very rapid degradation of suit material.  Shampoo and soap both contain detergents and will cause the color to fade and the Lycra® and or polyester to breakdown. 

Merchandise

Any returnable merchandise must still remain in its original box and or wrapping.  The Lifeguard Store will not accept returns that are used or have been damaged due to misuse.
